RC Bulldozer
An RC bulldozer is one of the many RC construction toys available to create anything from primitively simple to
extraordinarily complex mini-construction sites. They come in many different shapes and sizes, but have general features which distinguish
them from other RC construction toys.
The most prominent feature is the long blade, which in the actual vehicle is generally made of steel, that can be used to
pushed various objects or materials from point A to point B. This long curved blade is typically attached to the RC bulldozer via a long arm
that moves and tilts under hydraulic pressure, or electrical stimulus in simpler models.
The RC bulldozer, just like its real world equivalent, features dual rotating tracks which are responsible for the way the
toy moves. Most people are very familiar with these tracks, and can easily envision it, since it is so commonly used in many vehicles,
including military tanks and farmers’ tractors. The RC bulldozer makes effective use of these tracks, lying somewhat elevated so that the
tracks easily traverse whatever terrain you have included in your construction site.
The final distinguishing feature of an RC bulldozer is the frame which incorporates the replica of the operator’s cockpit.
While there is obviously no need for a real operator, many RC bulldozer designs include a toy operator to add to the realistic experience,
especially when it is used by children. This is especially exciting when the operator can be removed and has various movable parts, such as a
head that can be tilted or an arm that can be moved so that it lies on the side of the cabin door to imitate the mannerisms of a real
operator.
Like many other RC construction toys, it is common to find models with various miscellaneous functions such as working lights and engine sounds
that run continuously or on demand via the remote control. Whichever model you choose, you can be assured of hours of fun.
